Dolphin Fusion
Web Design
is happy to provide specific examples and
elaborate on any and all of these
methods to market a website and increase traffic to it.
- Free Search
Engine Submissions
- Free SEO Meta
tags including 10 Keywords in the Keywords Meta tag in the HTML header
of the website
corroborated by keywords in the content too.
- Free Open
Directory Listings
- Free Web
Content / Articles posted with bylines / links to your
company
- Changing
(Dynamic) Content on the site itself, like a Newsletter or Blog.
A good example is:
http://wickeddelicious.com/blog.
- The More
Content (text, images, web pages) The More Visible The Website is to
search engines.
Note: this was
the reason to add a
GREEN
Facts Sheets web page to the
California
Home
Designs site.
- Google Ad Words
(pay per click). Note: it costs
some money to do this.
When people go
to google.com and search for keywords pertaining to your site,
related
pay-per-click ads appear in the right margin.
- Google Ad Sense
is free and works like this: Google places related ads on your website
and you get pay-per-click royalties when those related ads are clicked on.
Part of the
implementation may be code
residing in, or on, the website that lets Google know
that it is
eligible
for Google Ad Sense.
Google is the most popular but other (like Yahoo)
pay-per-click options exist.
- A Website
Traffic Counter to evaluate traffic should be added.
See the
OneStat counter
located at the
bottom left of the
California
Home
Designs website for example.
Demonstrations
of how it works and how to
use it are available.
It's free if
you don't
mind the little icon appearing at the bottom of at least the home page
of the website
;
if
one
wants
to
pay
something,
the
traffic counter can be invisible.
